TIME HAS STOPPED
A moment is stuck
in everyone’s eyes.
Clocks are all stilled.
The merry-go-round
of old mother earth
has ground to a halt.
Monkeys scratch heads,
turtles race to the sea,
elephants die in a roar.
We now can see why
there’s no more war.
